This 84 pages book is an illustrated guide for all mycologists' libraries, probably the only one entirely dedicated to the studying of Discomycetes (Ascomycetes).
It is the English version of a French one which we issued in June 2023 with a large success among mycologists (specialists and generalists , also among botanists, more than 1000 copies sold in France). The authors are well-known among the world of international mycologists. The English version has been conducted with the help of Chris Yeates and Carol Hobbart from the British Mycological Society.
This richly illustrated manual is aimed at beginners and more experienced mycologists alike, covering all levels of study of the ascomycetes known as "Discomycetes", mainly the Helotiales, Pezizales and Orbiliales. (From Helvella to Lachnum, from Peziza to Ciboria, Mollisia, Hymenoscyphus, Scutellinia and so on).
