Notebook with back pocket for notes and receipts; two tape markers to keep track of more than just a to-do list; sturdy writing paper in ivory white, printed with lines; and when you need to collect other bills or pieces of paper, the magnetic side tab keeps everything neatly and conveniently in place.
For most people, the name Jobs is synonymous with richly blooming fabrics that have belonged to the classics of Swedish textile art since the 1940s. Less well known is that Lisbet Jobs (1909–61) and her sister Gocken Jobs (1914–95) first trained as potters. As two independent artists, they then worked side by side and their work gained international fame. Rose and Lily was designed for textiles by Gocken Jobs in 1946. The pattern was composed in Leksand, Dalarna, where the sisters shared a studio. It is inspired by the surrounding flowering meadows and flower beds. Sketches for the pattern can be found in the National Museum's archives in Stockholm.
