The KITE APC 12x42 is a field stabilizing binocular that lacks all the disadvantages normally associated with stabilizing binoculars.
Through its ergonomic design, you can hold the binoculars comfortably with one hand or both thanks to the slightly curved shape that is obtained through the battery compartment. The 4 AA batteries provide a maximum continuous operating time of a full 120 hours. The actual is considerably longer thanks to the APC function which turns off the binoculars when it changes position (see picture). In addition, the binoculars also have a time function that switches off the binoculars completely regardless of position after 90 min. The APC also has a battery indicator that shows that the batteries need to be replaced. AA batteries are so-called "penlights" and are the most common type available, i.e. you will find these in most stores around the world. With 12x magnification and a close range of 4 meters, you get an unforgettable experience of dragonflies and butterflies. Being able to see animals from long distances and experiencing that the image is steady is a feeling that both young and old appreciate. The optical quality gives you a sharp, lifelike image with high contrast. Feel free to watch the Youtube link below to get a feel for what KITE APC can offer. You get a whopping 50% more magnification than with a "normal" 8x, in addition, the image is completely calm and without scrolling when panning. When directly compared in low light with top quality 8.5x42 binoculars, the APC 42 produces a darker image, but with significantly better detail and contrast. For those with glasses, the 12x42 APC provides a full field of view while the 16x42 APC version provides a smaller field of view. Another aspect that is different is the field of view. Here you use the eyes to discover and the APC to observe and study in detail. The purpose of binoculars is usually to be able to see the object in detail.
