The Kamakura MR4 with ED glass is a more modern successor to the classic FMC, but also bridges the gap between the old MR3 and EDL4.
Like most Kamakura binoculars, it's easy to love the Japanese-made MR4 series. It is a relatively lightweight modern series of binoculars with large eyepieces, straight, flexible eyecups with an intermediate position, easy-to-work and precise focusing and an elegant grippy rubber housing. Diopter adjustment is traditionally done via a ring on the right eyepiece. The binocular housings are nitrogen filled for full tightness. The ED glasses with good anti-reflective treatment provide a very good image reproduction with high contrast and good color reproduction. The 10x42 MR4 is high-magnifying with a good field of view and relatively low weight, and is therefore excellent for all types of bird watching or hunting, when higher resolution is desired. Supplied with soft cordura bag, wide neoprene strap and rubber eyepiece protection.
